Meet the team.

We’re two Cornell University students who have been exploring AI since ChatGPT launched in 2022. Watching its capabilities advance while using these tools in our own work and studies showed us how much thoughtful AI implementation can improve productivity.

That lesson became concrete during Nolan’s data and AI internship with a marketing agency, where he helped implement AI systems across real business workflows, such as creating a knowledge base, connecting performance metrics to Claude, and custom automations saving hours of manual work.

Alex first saw the potential of AI at Glif, a startup founded in 2023 that was early to explore agentic applications of large language models. He later applied AI to financial workflows in private equity and private credit, giving him practical experience improving productivity in complex business settings.

These experiences made clear that these benefits should not be limited to companies that can afford an internal AI engineer or a large consulting firm.

We started Fog Strategy to make AI implementation accessible, practical, and effective for small and midsize businesses. We help teams identify the right opportunities, build solutions around the way they already work, and use them confidently.
